Fall Weed Out

The bluffs and woodlands in Lake Park have preserved much of their native vegetation. But, they are threatened by invaders from both the east and the west. Buckthorn, honeysuckle and garlic mustard are the chief culprits. This fall we will again be removing buckthorn and honeysuckle from priority areas. Wear sturdy shoes and long sleeves and pants. Bring gloves, if you have them.
