2026 Lake Park Tennis Registration

Lake Park Friends offers group Tennis Lessons for kids every summer at the Lake Park Tennis Courts. These clinics are an interactive and fun introduction to tennis. Participants learn the fundamental skills and rules of the sport in an effort to develop them for competitive play. Lessons are open to players of all levels, from beginner to advanced.

2026 Tennis Season

Registration will open Wednesday, April 1, 2026. Clinics will meet Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Rainouts will be made up on Tuesdays or Thursdays, when possible. Class size will be limited to 30 students for ages 9-14 and 24 students for ages 5-8.

Session Times:

9:00 am – 10:00 am (Ages 5-8)
10:00 am – 11:45 am (Ages 9-14)

Session #1: June 15, 17, 19, 22, 24, 26
Session #2: June 29 | July 1, 2 (Thurs.), 6, 8, 10
Session #3: July 13, 15, 17, 20, 22, 24
Session #4: July 27, 29, 31 | Aug 3, 5, 7
Session #5: Aug 10, 12, 14, 17, 19, 21

Session Costs:

$40 Per Session (non-members will also pay an additional registration fee of $20 per child)

Lake Park Friends Group Tennis Lessons Release & Waiver

For and in consideration of Lake Park Friends, permitting my children to enroll in and participate in the tennis instructions and related activities, by signing below I hereby voluntarily indemnify, release from liability, and hold harmless, Lake Park Friends (Board members and Tennis staff) for any accident, injury, illness, death, loss, damage to person or property, or other consequences suffered by the Participant(s) or any other person arising or resulting directly or indirectly from participation in the tennis lessons.

If the Participant(s) is/are injured, I agree to assume any financial obligation, either through my personal health insurance or through some other means, for any medical costs I incur. Lake Park Friends (Board members and Tennis staff) assumes no responsibility for any medical expenses, injury, or damage suffered by the Participant(s) in connection with the use of the Lake Park facilities or the Lake Park Friends equipment or services in connection with the tennis lessons.

I agree that neither I, nor my spouse, assignees, heirs, guardians and/or legal representatives will make any claim against, sue or attach the property of Lake Park Friends (Board members and Tennis staff) and/or any owner or agent thereof, for any loss or damage resulting from the Participant(s)’ participation in the tennis lessons.

I am aware of the potential dangers incidental to activities provided through the tennis lessons and that this is a release of liability, a waiver of my legal right to collect damages in the event of injury, death, or property damage. I also understand that this creates a contract between myself and the Lake Park Friends and I voluntarily sign this document.

Lake Park Friends Group Tennis Lessons Minor Release Form

I, the parent or legal guardian of the child(ren) participating in Lake Park Tennis, grant Lake Park Friends my permission to use any tennis photographs of my child(ren) for publicity purposes, such as print advertising for Lake Park tennis, Lake Park Friends email newsletter, Lake Park Friends Lion printed newsletter, Lake Park Facebook or web content at lakeparkfriends.org.

Furthermore, I understand that no royalty, fee or other compensation shall become payable to me by reason of such use.

I do NOT give permission to Lake Park Friends to use my child(ren)’s photograph for the above stated uses.
