Cirque du Lake Park

Lake Park Friends’ premiere annual fundraising event, Cirque du Lake Park, will be Saturday, September 7, 2024, from 6-9 p.m. We hope you will join us under the big tent outside Bartolotta’s Lake Park Bistro for an evening of wine, music, hearty appetizers and a lively auction! We are thrilled and thankful to have Lake Park Bistro once again generously providing the appetizers and service. The event will raise funds through sponsorships and a spectacular auction. 

 

This year’s Cirque will be dedicated to raising funds for lights on the Ravine Road Concrete Footbridge. We have partnered with James Stearns at Gallas Metalworks to engineer the four lampposts. Working from a few pictures from the early 1900s and some historical sculpting detail, Gallas was able to create a beautiful design we think will accurately reflect the original lamps. Vanguard Sculpture Services estimates the cost to produce and install the four lampposts to be around $100,000 – roughly $25,000 per lamp. The project should be completed within a year.

We hope you will consider joining us as a Cirque sponsor for 2024. Your support helps us achieve our mission of promoting the preservation and enjoyment of Lake Park and raising funds for the restoration and enhancement of the park in the spirit of Frederick Law Olmsted.

Sponsorships at $250 or above will include two tickets to Cirque.

Sponsorships at the $250 level and higher that are received by August 4 will be listed in the invitation.

Sponsorships received by August 18 will be listed in materials at the event. 

Tickets sales will open on our website on August 1.
